The purpose of this website promotion exercise was to get ranked for this phrase, as time has gone on, what else have I done? Well I have added a few social bookmarks to the mix, to continue to build the links to this site, for that phrase. I have not done many bookmarks, and not all at the same time, just a few here and there. I think it best to trickle the links out there rather than all at once, as the serp's will detect this as not natural. I will keep you updated to additional efforts.

What have I learned about Website Promotion?

I have learned that to get ranked for a particular keyword or phrase, you need to be intentional in how you use it, for this purpose it was website promotion exercise. It could be anything that is relevant to your website or product you are running a promotion on. You must write content that is unique and stays on target to your niche. I also learned the early bird gets the worm so to speak, first in on the topic for clipmarks, gets the results in Google. I hope others have learned a little about getting a search term to rank in the serps from this little exercise.

Two Months of Website Promotion Exercise

After two months of this process, this little blog is still at or near the top of the results for this search term. I have learned a lot about what works and does not as it comes to getting found in the search engines. I would like to continue to test new ideas about getting listed for a search term. I read about an exercise that went on a few years ago about getting listed for "coolest guy on the planet" be sure to search that one out as it is very informative.
